    Betty Owens Bell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Thursday, February 6th, 2025, at the age of 83.Born on October 2nd, 1941, in Jenkins County, Georgia, Betty was a lifelong Georgian, cherishing the values and traditions of her birthplace. She dedicated her life to being a devoted homemaker, nurturing her family with love and warmth. Betty was known for her unwavering support and kindness to all who knew her, cultivating a home filled with love and laughter.Betty is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William "Bill" A. Bell, who was her devoted partner in life and adventure. She was a proud and caring mother to her sons, Randall Bell and Craig Bell, and daughter-in-law, Tamara Bell. Betty adored her four grandchildren, Lani, Megan, Morgan, and Abbey, who brought immense joy to her life. Her extended family and numerous friends will fondly remember her gentle spirit and generosity.Together with Bill, Betty enjoyed spontaneous travels to Las Vegas and Biloxi in their younger years, making memories that would last a lifetime. Her greatest happiness was found in nurturing those around her, and she will be dearly missed by all.Family, friends, and others whose lives Betty touched are invited to attend a visitation at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel, on Monday, February 17th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Betty's life will be held at the same location on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, at 11:00 am followed by a burial at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that those who wish to honor Betty's memory make a donation to a charity of their choice, continuing Betty's legacy of kindness and compassion.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Baker McCullough Funeral Home-Garden City Chapel, 2794 US Highway 80 West, Garden City, Georgia 31408 (912)964-2862. Betty's family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support received during this difficult time.
