It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beverly J. Briggs, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on Tuesday, November 16th, 1948, in Statesboro, GA, Beverly was a long-time resident of Savannah, GA.Beverly was known for her kind spirit, unwavering love for her family, and her dedication to her work at Heavy Weight Transportation. Her vibrant personality and generous heart touched all who knew her.She was predeceased by her husband, Bobby L. Briggs, and her parents, William Carlton Henley and Betty Deal Henley and her siter Diane Ferguson.Beverly is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Eddie Ortega, her cherished grandsons, Nicholas and Jaden Ortega, brother-in-law, Owen Ferguson (Pricilla), several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel on Sunday, September 15th, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.Funeral services will be held at the same location on Monday, September 16th, 2024, at 11:00 am, officiated by Kenny Harrelson.
