A Life Story

Clyda F. Ridenour Sickels, 78, of Savannah, Georgia passed away on August 27, 2024 after a brief illness surrounded by family. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Clyde B. Ridenour and Virginia Faye House Ridenour, Clyda enjoyed a 20 year career with the IRS as a Problem Resolution Officer followed by a career as an Enrolled Agent and tax professional in the private sector. She was an avid dog lover and enjoyed many furry friends throughout her lifetime: Tigra I, Misty, Tigra II, Bashful, Moppy, Mimi, Tasha, and Bella, whom she leaves behind. She was a faithful supporter of animal rescue groups throughout her lifetime.Clyda is survived by her daughters, Shonnee Burris and Tammra Kristoff (Jay), two granddaughters, Summer Burris and Catherine Kristoff, and two brothers, Vernon Ridenour and Paul Ridenour.Services will be held a later date.
