    Constance Davis Burke, 98, of Savannah Georgia, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at The Marshes of Skidaway Island. She was born March 29, 1926 in Athens Georgia to Lucile and Fred Davis. The family moved to Savannah where Connie attended Savannah High School and then returned to Athens, where she graduated from the University of Georgia.Connie was married 68 years to William R Burke who passed February 22, 2022. Together they lived in Savannah, Doylestown PA, and Tifton GA before retiring back to Savannah. No matter where they went Connie loved family and friends, maintaining many lasting relationships over the years.Connie was proceeded in death by her sister Barbara Baker. She is survived by her 2 children: William R Burke Jr. (Mary) of Mims Florida and Robert W. Burke (Kathy) of Savannah Georgia and 2 grandchildren: William R. Burke, III of Tampa, Florida and Lindsey L. Dayton (Ryan) of Mims Florida with great- grandchild Ryan S. Dayton Jr.The family will have a private ceremony at St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Donations can be made to St Thomas Episcopal Church and Gentiva Hospice.
