    A Life Story

    Coye Green, 71, of Collins, Georgia, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026. He was born June 8, 1954, in Savannah, son of the late Clarence Green and Betty Rhiner Green, and preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Cathy Green. Mr. Green retired as a crane operator from the Georgia Port Authority after 41years. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed the outdoors, and loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Green had an appreciation for the simples in life and especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch with his dog, Blue. Survivors include his daughter, Christy Morris (William Tayler), son, Keith Green (Angel), five grandchildren, Macy Bashlor (Bryan), Tyler Morris, (Jordyn), Kassey Bishop (Dawson), Chandler Green and Dylan Duncan, three, great-grandchildren, Piper Bashlor, Banks Bashlor, Kason Bishop, and a fourth great-grandchild on the way, sisters, Cathy Findley (Franklin) and Debra Phillips (Ricky), sister-in-law, Peggy Green, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Green and Don Green. A Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Fox & Weeks Hodgson Chapel followed by a 1:00pm. Funeral Service. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Garden.
