Daphne L. Chestnut, 99, of Savannah, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026, She was born January 14 , 1927, in Horry County, South Carolina, daughter of the late Pearly Herbert Lambert and the late Hettie Ruth Harelson Lambert, and preceded in death by her husband, Jack Chestnut.
A memorial service will be at 2:00p.m., Monday, June 29, 2006, at Isle of Hope Baptist Church. There will be a committal service at 11:00a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Salem Baptist Church in the Aynor community, Horry County, South Carolina, followed by a burial in the church cemetery.
