David Padgett, born on August 20, 1947, in Savannah, GA, to parents Lonnie and Elizabeth Padgett, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah with his beloved wife, Joan, by his side. A proud veteran of the US Navy, David was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bird hunting and sporting clays. He is survived by his devoted wife, Joan; two sons, David Jr. (Jessica) and Lawrence "Billy"; and two cherished granddaughters, Addison and Avery. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service. David will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
