A Life Story

SAVANNAH - Dianne Elaine Siskin, 66, of Savannah, GA, passed away surrounded by family on July 3, 2026. Dianne was known in the community for her years teaching ballroom dancing at Southland Dance Studio, which she co-owned for over twenty years, sharing her love for ballroom dancing with thousands of people across the lowcountry. Following her retirement, she discovered a passion for playing pickleball. Her joy and kindness were a light unto this world. A loving wife and mother, Dianne is survived by her husband, Jim Siskin; her son Steven Stockdale and his wife Staci Lifshen; her daughter Candice McLaughlin and her husband Johnny McLaughlin; her brothers Clifford Barber and Danny Barber; her stepson Brad Siskin; and her daughter-in-law Sheri Siskin and her daughters Shae and Micah Siskin. She was predeceased by her parents, Dick and Ernestine Barber, her brother, David Barber, and her stepson Judge Keith Siskin. A graveside service will be held on July 6, 2026 at 11 o'clock in Bonaventure Cemetery.
