A Life Story

Doris Estelle Allen passed away 1/20/2025 after a long illness. She was born in Savannah, Georgia March 31, 1925, the only child of Robert and Lily Allen. They moved to Kirkwood Missouri from Savannah when she was a child and remained there until she returned to Savannah in 2013. She was a teacher with the Ladue School District for 30 years and an avid traveler and golfer, whose catch phrase was "fiddlesticks".She is survived by her cousin Doris Caughran. The family would like to thank Spanish Oaks for their excellent care during her illness.
