A Life Story

Eddie Lee Morgan, Sr., 72, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Savior on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Born in Oliver, Georgia, on March 15, 1954, he was the son of the late Cora Lee Morgan. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kathy Jennings Morgan; his children, LaTia Smart and Eddie Lee Morgan, Jr.; and seven grandchildren: Aniyah, Mike’jah, Mikah, Leonard “Trey”, Nevaeh, Emoura, and Journee. He is also missed by his brother, Johnny (Ola) Morgan; sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Oscar) Lewis, Julia (Frank) King, Sr., and Vianne Jennings; brother-in-law, Wilson Lee, Sr.; four godchildren; and a large network of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
