Rincon – Jewel Hodges, 89, passed away December 13, 2024 at her home. The Jenkins County native was a faithful servant of the Lord. She loved taking care of her family as a homemaker, especially loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Hodges; parents, Valder & Dora Joyner; and siblings, Henry Joyner, Lula Mae Burke, and Ronald Joyner. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Cooke (Allen) and Julie Moran (Rick); a brother, Johnny Ray Joyner; grandchildren, Ashley Raddatz (Jim), Monique Robinson, Hannah Van Puffelen (William,II), Cody Moran (Mallory), Micah Cooke, Justin Moran, and Corban Moran; and great-grandchildren, Jewel Hazel Van Puffelen, Genevieve Moran, Magnolia Van Puffelen, and Ridge Van Puffelen; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 2 – 3 pm Monday, December 16, 2024 in the funeral home. Funeral: 3 pm Monday, December 16, 2024 in the funeral home chapel.
