A Life Story

Joan M. Sorrenti (a.k.a. "Sug") of Savannah GA, born August 27, 1965, gained her heavenly wings Wednesday morning March 12, 2025.Sug is survived by: brother Arman Tunstall, niece Christy Kellam Blakey (children Olivia, Ashton, Preston), nephew Steven Kellam (& Bethany) (children Amanda, Anna), cousin Amy Roberts (& Chris), uncle Ott Barnard (& Andi), aunt Janie Barnard, and other extended family members.Preceding her in death were: recently-deceased sister Debra Swain (her Rock in life), mother Barbara Hafey, brother Perry Kellam ("Bud"), sister Robin Tunstall, great-nephew "Little Perry" Kellam, and others.Sug loved to sing (Pocket Full of Sunshine, and Amazing Grace were among her favorites), and to cruise, and to watch birds and butterflies from her back porch. She worked many years for the John S. James Company. In addition to friends there, Sug leaves special friends Yvonne, Peggy, Judy, Myra, Patty and others who will miss her dearly.In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances or donations be sent in memory of Joan Sorrenti to either Alee Shriners Slotin Fund (PO Box 14147 Savannah GA 31416) or Hospice Savannah (1352 Eisenhower Drive Savannah GA 31406).
