A Life Story
Oliver, GA – Krenson Kenneth Kniphfer, 77, of Oliver, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at home. Krenson was born in Savannah, Georgia and was the eldest son of the late Albert Edward “Ed” Kniphfer and the late Freida May Bryant Kniphfer. Krenson was a member of the Bonaventure Road Church of Christ. He loved to fish, hunt and compete in competition coon hunts. He also loved being with his family. He retired from TOKN Construction as a co-owner/operator in the land clearing business. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Jenny Kniphfer and Karen Kay Anaya. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Newsome Kniphfer; his son, Krenson E. Kniphfer (Jennifer) of Oliver, GA; his daughter, Kimberly K. Whiddon (Tony) of Roanoke, Alabama; grandchildren, Krenson Hunter Kniphfer, Katie Kniphfer, Bryce Whiddon, Aubrey Whiddon, Delaney Whiddon and Caleb Whiddon; brothers/sisters, Donald Kniphfer, Eddie Kniphfer (Elaine), Waring Kniphfer, Gloria Chapman, Deborah Witt, Teresa Godwin, and Connie Jiran (Pat); and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be 10 am Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at Upper Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
