    A Life Story

    Mary Lynn Zittrouer, 60, of Guyton, GA, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024. Mary Lynn was born in Savannah, Georgia on April 19th, 1964, to Leon Talmadge Glisson and Mary Jeanine Purcell Glisson. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Mary Lynn was a graduate of Calvary Day School and worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at HCA Healthcare, where she was known for her compassionate care and dedication to her patients and was a valued colleague of Dr. Susan Greene. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church Garden City where she sang in the Praise Team. Mary Lynn is survived by her loving husband, Corley Zittrouer, her children Christopher Zittrouer (Hallie), Kayla Zittrouer, and Kelsey Eunice (Brandon), Magen Jones (Chris), as well as her grandsons Chapman and Tatum Zittrouer, and William and John Ellis Jones. She is also survived by her brother Brian Glisson (Shelia), her brother-in-law Erine Zittrouer (Linda), and her sister-in-law Emily Chaffin, several nieces and nephews, and many friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the First Baptist Church Garden City on Monday, June 10th, 2024, at 11:00 am, with visitation preceding the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be sent to the Building for Tomorrow Fund at First Baptist Church Garden City. Mary Lynn will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of kindness and love will live on in the hearts of those she touched. May she rest in peace.
