A Life Story
Patricia Gay Catterton Davis, a beloved resident of Savannah, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Born on October 9, 1953, in Savannah, Patricia was a graduate of Richard Arnold High School. She devoted many years to nurturing children at local daycares. Her caring nature was felt by countless children and their families over the years. She was a longtime and cherished member of Calvary Baptist Temple, where she was active with the Faithful Servant Sunday School Class. Her church family meant the world to her. Patricia also found joy and companionship at the Thunderbolt Senior Citizens Center, sharing laughter and fellowship with dear friends. Known for her love of seafood, especially blue crab and oysters, Patricia also enjoyed the quiet challenge of puzzles and cherished every moment spent with her family. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Debbie Lynne Kersey, and her son, Guy Creech. She leaves behind her sister, Bonny Catterton Cox, and her brother, Rob Catterton (Julie). Her memory will also be treasured by her grandchildren: Christopher Gerrald (Jocelyn), Jeremy Gerrald (Mikayla), Zachary Gerrald, Natalie Creech, Nathan Creech, and Nolan Creech, as well as her great-grandchildren, Orion, Weston, and Amirie. Patricia’s beloved cat, Bella, will miss her gentle touch. Preceding her in death were her parents, Billy and Ann Catterton; her son-in-law, Larry Kersey; her brother, Charles William Catterton; and her brother-in-law, Roger Cox. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia’s life during visitation at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel in Savannah, Georgia, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Faithful Servants Sunday School Class. A graveside service will be held at Blue Springs Methodist Church Cemetery in Newington, GA, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11:00 am. Pallbearers will include Christopher Gerrald, Jeremy Gerrald, Zachary Gerrald, Nathan Creech, Nolan Creech, and Wayne Porter. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Patricia’s memory to be made to The Thunderbolt Senior Citizens Center, 3236 Russell Street, Thunderbolt, GA 31404. Arrangements have been made by Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
