A Life Story
Patricia Hamilton Stacy was born in Savanah, Georgia on July 28, 1959, and passed away on November 2, 2024. Tricia was preceded in death by her parents Shirley Hattrich Hamilton and George Dyson Hamilton. She is survived by her husband Thomas Knox Stacy and her daughter Grace Hamilton Stacy. She is also survived by her sisters Jane Hamilton Boatright and Diane Hamilton Lightsey along with her nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Throughout her life Tricia devoted herself to her family and friends.Tricia graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Interior Design. Tricia's love for design led to many creative opportunities. In 1991 while living in Atlanta she started her own design and construction firm. In Atlanta, she served as Vice President of The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and was included in Baron's Who's Who in Interior Design. Tricia has also been a builder member of The National Association of Home Builders. Moving back to Savannah in 2000, she founded Hamilton Signature Homes. Tricia did the residential design, and was the general contractor, supervisor, and interior designer for her show houses and projects. She was awarded a "Best of Houzz" in 2017 and 2020.Tricia Stacy was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church in Savannah. She dedicated herself to various building and interior design projects at the church.
