A Life Story

Rincon – Randal Wayne Zipperer, 69, passed away June 22, 2026 at his residence. The Chatham County native was a U.S. veteran, formerly worked for Savannah Sugar Refinery and retired as a painter. He enjoyed watching old westerns and his rocking chair. He loved life, was outgoing, always a friend to others caring about their wellbeing above his own and was a loving brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Waters Zipperer and Frances Roller Zipperer. Survivors include his brothers, Gary S. Zipperer (Un) and John C. Zipperer; nieces, Sandra Yun (Eric) and Christine Mulholland (Andrew); great-nieces and nephews, Marcus, Mason, Mirabel, Atlas and Phoenix. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Rincon Cemetery. Thomas C.
