A Life Story

Mr. Ray Dean Davis, age 88, of Savannah passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025.Mr. Davis was born on December 6, 1936 in Augusta County, Virginia to the late Centrelle Dean Davis and the late Helen Gertrude Moomaw Davis. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired salesman, working many years with Southco. He was a Mason, member of Scottish Rite, a 50 year member of Alee Temple Shrines, and a member of Georgia Lions Club.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Lee Stine Davis, son, Mark Kevin Davis, sister, Connie Todaro, step son, Larry Wilmot, and son-in-law, Randy Cone.Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, David (Diana), Jeff (Donna), and stepchildren, Kim Cone, Shanacy Crecy, Tina Carter (Ted). 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Alee Temple (100 Eisenberg Dr, Savannah, GA 31406) or Lions Club of Savannah (2141 Rowland Ave, Savannah, GA 31404).
