A Life Story

Shirley Morgan Sienkiewicz, age 87, of Savannah passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at her residence.Mrs. Sienkiewicz was born on December 12, 1936 in Savannah to the late Gipson Hull Morgan and the late Susie Kessler Morgan. She graduated from Commercial High School in 1954 and went on to work as an administrative secretary for Tyco International. Mrs. Sienkiewicz was a member of White Bluff Methodist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gipson Ellison Morgan and Lonnie Morgan; and two sisters, Grace Slater and Margaret Nease.Survivors include her son, Michael A. Sienkiewicz, Germantown, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Julie Sienkiewicz Lamb (David) of Richmond Hill, GA; sister, Mary Morgan Smith of Pooler, GA; grandchildren, Dr. John Morgan Lamb of Durham, NC, Anna Leigh Sienkiewicz of Nashville, TN, Adam Thomas Sienkiewicz of Washington D.C., and Luke Andrew Sienkiewicz of Germantown, TN. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery (1600 Wheaton Street Savannah, GA 31404).Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Arrangements are under the direction of Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.
