A Life Story

Timothy Glenn Tramell, 66, of Savannah, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at his home. Tim was born November 21,1959, in Savannah, to John R. and Shelby Fields Tramell. He was co-owner of Dixie Motors where he made many lifelong relationships with his customers. Tim was a member of Bible Baptist Church, where he attended since 1965. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, 5588, where he was a member of the golf league. He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Tramell. Tim is survived by his wife of 26 years, Yvonne R. Tramell, his mother, Shelby F. Tramell, two daughters, Mandy Tramell, and Candace Thigpen, and his two granddaughters, Rylee and Laine. Also surviving are his three brothers, Chris Tramell (Lisa), Mark Tramell (Elizabeth), and John Tramell (Dana), his sister, Patty Brower (Roger), and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will begin at 10:00a.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Bible Baptist Church followed by 11:00a.m. Celebration of Tim’s life with Pastor Kelly D. McInerney officiating. Interment will be in Greenwich Cemetery.
