    A Life Story

William "Bill" Arendarczyk, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the age of 80, with his loved ones at his side. Born on October 12, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, Bill spent his formative years in Chicago before later making the Savannah area his home, where he lived for most of his adult life. A dedicated journeyman, he worked for many years at Great Dane Trailers, where his strong work ethic, skilled craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence earned the respect of those around him until his retirement. A proud veteran, Bill served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. A devout Baptist, his faith remained an important part of his life. Bill found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially bowling, fi shing, spending time outdoors, watching NASCAR races, and making memories with those he loved most. Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 26 years, Sharon Watson; his loving daughter, Addie Amory; his dear son, Bill Jr.; and his cherished grandchildren, Ansleigh Amory, Adam Thompson Jr., Heather Devlin, Alyssa Watson, and Kayla Carreon. He is also survived by his sister, JoAnn Bohler, and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and love. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Mary Kmiec Arendarczyk; his brothers, Bobby Arendarczyk and Jacob "Jake" Arendarczyk; and his sisters, Jean Muzia, and Marion Maffet. In accordance with his wishes, no public services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel. He leaves behind countless memories, stories, and laughs that will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
