Claudette DeLoach Hillman went home to Jesus on Friday September 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving children in her home in Savannah, GA.Claudette was born on November 6, 1937 in Claxton, GA to Claude DeLoach and Ora Lee Sutton DeLoach. She was married to her husband Stacy Butcher Hillman for 56 years until his untimely passing in 2010. Claudette was a Girl Scout leader and Sunday school teacher, as she so enjoyed pouring love and her unwavering faith in Jesus into the youth in her community. She worked faithfully at Sears and retired after 27 years.Claudette and her friends could be found any given Friday night enjoying Margaritas together at Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant. She and her husband Stacy loved to play cards each week with their best friends Ann and Joe and did so for many years. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren rotten. Her sense of humor kept her family laughing and always on their toes.She is preceded in death by her parents Claude DeLoach and Ora Lee Sutton DeLoach, her loving husband Stacy Butcher Hillman, and their daughter Aleen McKie. She is survived by her daughter Leigh Krebs Tuten (Rob) of Savannah and her son Butch Hillman of Rincon; her grandchildren Craig Krebs (Kate), Jessie Krebs, Robbie Tuten, Seth Hillman, Stacy Leigh Honeycutt (Thomas), and several great grandchildren whom she loved and adored.A visitation will be from 12:00 until 1:00, Wednesday, September 11, 2024, followed by a 1:00 funeral service at Fox and Weeks Hodgson Chapel.
