    A Life Story

Larry Wayne Hauser went home on September 5th, 2024. He was surrounded by family and passed in his home as per his wishes.Born on August 3rd, 1952, Larry lived a life in service to those most important to him, who needed him, who he loved. He is survived by his wife, Leslie Hauser and her extended family. As well as his niece and nephew David Hauser and Lauren Sadkin and their extended families. Larry served his wife with an undying love and dedication through good and bad times, sickness and health. She was his everything and he was hers. Larry filled the shoes of his predeceased brother, Roger, in his role as surrogate father, leader and nurturer to his niece and nephew David and Lauren. He was loved by everyone he touched including his friends, neighbors and employees. He helped many people in his lifetime. It brought him happiness. Larry spent his formative years surfing the beaches of Fort Myers, Fl. and Tybee Island, Ga. Surfing was his passion and outlet. It represented and nurtured his youthful rebellious spirit which would mature into his role as an open-minded and selfless leader of his family and his business.Larry launched his own Advertising firm, The Hauser Group, in 1980, which went on to become one of the most successful Ad Firms in Savannah, Ga. and ultimately would have offices in Savannah and Atlanta.Larry's many other accomplishments, titles, roles and passions included but were not limited to his love of all animals and his many pets, his love of nature in his passion for fishing and hunting and his love of research and seeking truth and knowledge and in that bettering himself and those around him. Through this research he sought and obtained knowledge of his family, of the world and of the great divine. He found God not in organized religion but rather in nature, in love and in family. Larry was a leader among followers. He was a lion and a lamb, in perfect balance. He was the patriarch of his family, gentle yet firm, confident and intentional. Larry will be forever grieved by his wife Leslie and his bereaved family. His presence filled their lives with comfort, a comfort that will never be again. His memory will live in their hearts and on their tongues. They find solace in knowing that they will see him on the other side, wherever that may be. Larry will now join his mother, father, sister and brother, who have patiently been awaiting his presence. Larry will be missed
