A Life Story

Delores Mildred Mongin Fritts, age 71, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Memorial Hospital. Born in 1955 to Harold and Willie Mae Mongin in Savannah, GA, she was a beloved mother, sister and grandmother. She loved gardening and fishing. She was a friend to all she met and will be deeply missed by many. She is survived by her daughter; Heather Lockhart, her brothers; William Mongin and Roland K. Smith, III, nieces and nephews; Taylor Molnar, Brantley Mongin, Adam Mongin and David Mongin, her grandchildren; Mabry Lockhart and Adeline Lockhart. A memorial will be held at Adams Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation on her behalf to the Savannah Humane Society.
