    A Life Story

    Guyton – Ernestine Jackson Dasher, 84, passed away Monday, August 31, 2026 at Effingham Care Center. The Savannah native was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker that loved baking, cooking, fishing and travelling. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas, which she loved spending time with family and friends. Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dasher and her grandson, Brent Dasher. She is survived by her children, Pam Townsend (Darrell), Ronnie Dasher (Christy), Darrell Dasher (Susan), and Dwayne Dasher (Michelle); her grandchildren, Kelly, David, Joseph, Ashley, Ron, Ashley, Justin, Vic, Aaron, Bryce, and Cortlyn; great-grandchildren; Asher, Riley, Hayden, Harper, Payton, Mason, Nora, and Truitt; her brother, Bubba Jackson (Phyllis); and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6- 8 pm Tuesday, September 1, 2026 in the funeral home. Funeral: 11 am Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Sand Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Thomas C.
