Jane Y. Gruber, age 79, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, following a brief illness.Born in Savannah, Georgia to Walter E. Yokum and Mary E. Yokum, Jane lived a life filled with love, devotion, and unwavering commitment to her family and friends.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William C. Gruber Jr.; and her grandson, Jake Gregory Dailey.Jane is survived by her sister, Carolyn Beebe; her children, Trey (Tonya) Gruber and Jackie (Chad) Williams; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, who will all treasure her memory and carry forward her legacy of kindness and strength.Her family will hold a funeral service to honor her life and the joy she brought to those around her on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Jane's love and light will forever be in the hearts of those she touched.
