    A Life Story

Joseph Patrick Brennan, Sr. was born October 15, 1946, to the late John Michael and Virginia Clancy Brennan. He was one of 6 children. He attended Blessed Sacrament School and Benedictine Military School. After high school, he attended Spring Hill College where he attended his first keg party twenty minutes after being dropped off by his parents. After college, he joined the United States Air Force and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in 1969. He promptly married the love of his life, Janet Joyce Brennan, and moved to Taipei, Taiwan to join the Vietnam War and start their family. Their oldest son, Patrick, was born while they were stationed in Taipei, and he was flying C-130s in combat. He continued his career in the Air National Guard and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel and the Commander of the 158th Airlift Squadron.Upon completion of duty in Vietnam, he attended The University of Georgia School of Law where he was awarded a Juris Doctorate in 1977. He would eventually form the law firm of Brennan and Wasden with his business partner and lifelong friend, Wiley Wasden. His list of accomplishments as a pilot and attorney are too many to be listed here and he would not want that anyway.Joe was an amazing man, a loving husband, a great father and friend, and a doting grandfather – his most proud role in a life full of achievements.
