Mrs. Mary Morris, age 94, of Savannah passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.Mrs. Morris was born on December 29, 1930 in Olanta, South Carolina to the late Lawrence Floyd and the late Isma McElveen Floyd. After a long career at Tetley Tea, she retired in 1993.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Shelby Morris, Sr.; daughter, Rosemary Clark; and brothers, Merritt Floyd and Larry Floyd.Survivors include her daughter, Carol Jackson; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert S. Morris, Jr. and Rick and Kay Morris; grandchildren, Stephanie and Charlie Roy, Ashly and Meghan Morris, and Taylor Morris; great grandchildren, Lincoln and Kohen Morris, Abbie and Hunter Roy; brother, Kent Floyd; and many nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah (1352 Eisenhower Dr. Savannah, GA 31406).
