Obituary for Lt Col Richard B. "Dick: ReussLt Col. Richard "Dick" B. Reuss, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), 92, of Savannah, Georgia died Sunday evening, July 21, 2024 at Savannah Square Assisted Living Center.Born in Cairo, Illinois, he was the son of the late Lawrence Adkins Reuss and the late Florence Mae House. Dick earned his master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Florida. He retired from the 165th Airlift Wing after 28 years of service.Survivors include three cousins, Roxanne Palek, Lawrence E. House II and Marilyn Mitchell.Friends may gather from 12 o'clock until 2 o'clock in the afternoon, Tuesday August 6, 2024 at Gamble Funeral Service – 410 Stephenson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia with full military honors at 2 o'clock.Private burial will be in Beaufort National Cemetery.Remembrances: The Salvation Army – 3100 Montgomery Street, Savannah, Georgia 31405.To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Lt Col Richard B.
