A Life Story

Rita C. Neiswinter, 86, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 24th, surrounded by her loving family. Rita was born in Tuscola, IL, daughter of Ernest Keigley and Ruth Chambers. She was educated in the public school system, graduating from Charleston High School in Charleston, IL, in 1956. In 1958, she met and married Leonard Neiswinter of Chicago, IL. They remained married for 58 years until Leonard's death in 2016.She retired from Georgia Pacific, and was a member of Islands Christian Church. She was predeceased by her son Keith Neiswinter and her husband, Leonard.Rita leaves behind a daughter, Monica Jensen of Savannah; a granddaughter, Renae Jensen of Savannah; grandsons, Alex Jensen of Texas, Josh, and Matthew Neiswinter of South Carolina; and a sister, Gail Swayne of Pekin, IL.Graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, October 1st, at Greenwich Cemetery
