A Life Story

Sharon Clair, 65, of Savannah, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025. She was born on March 24, 1959 in Queens, New York, daughter of the late Jerome Clair and Jean Lynch Clair. Sharon was raised in New Jersey and graduated from the University Connecticut. Sharon had a successful career in retail management and had worked for Bloomingdale's and Neiman Marcus. She had a fierce sense of adventure which led her to work for Princess Cruises where she was able to see different parts of the world. Sharon eventually relocating to North Carolina, and began working for Belk's where she met her future husband, Peyton. They married in Folly Beach, South Carolina, and settled in South Florida.She is survived by her husband, Peyton Floyd, two sisters, Melissa Clair, Carolyn Clair and her beloved pet dog, Bella.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 21st at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
