Shirley Baughn, 89, of Savannah passed away peacefully Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Azalealand Nursing Home.Shirley was born May 5, 1935 in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to the late Frederick and Virginia Haas. She was predeceased in 2022 by her husband, Billy Baughn.Shirley spent many years in banking in the D.C. area before marrying Billy and eventually moving to Savannah in 1975.Survivors include her son, Fred Baughn of Savannah as well as several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 7th at 10:30 am at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Savannah (1352 Eisenhower Drive Savannah, GA 31406) or the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org/donate).
