Teresa Maria Yates McDonald, of Savannah, Georgia passed away Saturday, August 31st, 2024 at the age of 68.Teresa was born on June 30, 1956 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to the late Bernard and Josephine Yates. She had 3 children, Matthew, Sarah, and Jessica with her first husband, the late James Winingham and later met her second husband, the late Sean McDonald, and had another child, Keegan.She graduated in the field of nursing and worked as a neonatal nurse. She loved reading, cats, Dr. Pepper, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.Mrs. McDonald is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Butch Yates and Mickey Yates; and husband.Mrs. McDonald is survived by 4 children, Matthew Winingham, Sarah Howe, Jessica Iardino, Keegan McDonald; seven grandchildren, Madalyn, Jaden, Lydia, Kasey, Kyle, Lucas, Alessio; two great granddaughters, Nora, Alannah; two sisters, Sharon Marcum and Angela Berthold; and one brother Timothy Yates.The family will receive friends Friday, September 6, 2024 from 11 o'clock until 12 o'clock at Gamble Funeral Service - 410 Stephenson Ave., Savannah, GA 31405.Funeral services for Mrs. McDonald will follow in the funeral home chapel Friday, September 6, 2024 at 12 o'clock. Reverend Theodore Agba will officiate.We will honor Mrs. McDonald's wish to be cremated.
