Mark Payton , age 53, passed away on June 1, 2026. Mark loved going on cruises and sitting on the balcony sipping his coffee listening to the ocean. He also enjoyed playing golf. He was a flight instructor and was formally employed by Flight Safety International for over 20 years. He was also employed by Spirit Airlines, as well as CAE. He was type rated on the Citation 500 series, Citation 750, Air Bus A320 series and Gulfstream 450 and 550 which he was an instructor on all of them. Mr. Payton was preceded in death by his brother Michael Payton.
Mark was a loving husband and a devoted son. He was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and willingness to help others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mark is survived by his wife Nilda Payton; step daughter, Samira Urena; step son, Xavier Urena; his parents, Chris and Jesse Payton and many other loving family members and friends.
