A Life Story

William "Will" Ortiz passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 65, in Savannah, Georgia. His battle with serious medical issues showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Will came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.Will is survived by his beautiful wife, Michelle Ortiz, and five daughters and one son: Rachel DeLaPeña, Denise Steed, Danielle Lane, Savannah DeCarlo, Summer Ortiz, and William Ortiz. He is also survived by his parents, siblings, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a proud Papa to 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed amongst all of his family members.A short graveside ceremony will be held 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 5, 2024,at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA.
