Lynn Harrison Pories, 96, of Savannah, Georgia and wife of the late Bernard Pories, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 25,2024. Mother of William A. Pories (Jennifer) of West Palm Beach, Florida and Ann P. Harris (Steven) of Metairie, Louisiana. Daughter of the late Amy and Alfred Harrison. Grandmother of Scott Harris (Sara), Judd Harris (Sarah), Lesley Pories, Allison Polich (Chad), Michael Harris (Sarah), Courtney Strent (Danny), and Jordan Pories. Great grandmother of Everett Polich, Millie, Elizabeth and Isaac Harris.Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, she was a graduate of the Isidore Newman School and The University of Pennsylvania. She was a woman of remarkable strength. She loved playing bridge; she was a Life Master, Director, and an accomplished player. She was also a gifted schoolteacher and enjoyed traveling the world with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.The family would like to thank her caregivers who have literally been by her side for the last twelve years. Ann Marie Thomas, Jessica Clements, Jamie Thomas, Dawny Bouchard, Cindy Clements, Debbie Mullis, Jessica Hooker and many other caregivers that touched her life.The funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by Rabbi Haas.Memorials to Congregation Mickve Israel, Savannah, Georgia or Isidore Newman School, 1903 Jefferson Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70115 preferred.
