    A Life Story

Patricia Walsh Wilson, 77, of Savannah, Ga, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026. Patty was born on March 6, 1949 in Savannah, to Raymond Charles Walsh and Ann Ryan Walsh. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her beloved husband of 28 years, Gerald Wilson. Patty, or “Pat” as she was known at work, was an Executive Assistant at Great Dane Trailers for more than 40 years. Outside of work, she loved everything leading up to and including St. Patrick’s Day. She was a past President of the Daughters of Ireland and worked on the St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee. She was active in the Gamma Alpha Sigma sorority and was a past President of both the State Council and the local chapter. Through her participation in this sorority, she was often involved in fundraising efforts to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House. Patty was an avid Georgia Tech football fan and owned season tickets for more than 30 years. She traveled to almost all home games and occasional away games. She was such a loyal Tech fan that she NEVER wore red and black together and did not allow her daughter to apply to UGA when going to college! Patty is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Glen) Wiltshire, granddaughters Gabrielle O’Toole and Lyndsi Wiltshire, a brother, Timothy (Libby) Walsh, niece Aubrey (Brent) Robinson, nephew, Raymond (Kari) Walsh and great nephews Charlie and Davis Robinson. Patty was beloved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, at Baker-McCullough Funeral Home on Hodgson Memorial Drive. A rosary service will be held at the funeral home at 6:45pm. The funeral Mass will take place at St. James the Less Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 10:00am with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. A reception will follow burial at St. James the Less Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House in Patty’s name.
