A Life Story

Rosemary Bongiovanni Christensen, age 71, died unexpectedly on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. She was born in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey on March 3, 1955, to the late Frank Bongiovanni and the late Carmella Terzoule Bongiovanni. She was raised in Neptune City and has lived in Savannah for forty-four years. She was a chair side dental assistant for twenty years before running a very successful Critter Control business with her husband, John retiring six years ago. Rosemary loved cooking for family and friends, loved painting and will always be remembered for making everyone smile and feeling loved. Her warmth, generosity, and kindness touched everyone she met. She is survived by husband John, son Jason & wife Jeanne, daughter Carmella, brothers Frank Bongiovanni & wife Shirley, Joe Bongiovanni & wife Barbara, sister JoAnn Harman & husband Loy, brother-in-law Dr. Chris Christensen, sisters-in-law Mary Francis Corklin & husband Bob, Barbara Mueller & husband Al, and many nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel from 1:00 until just prior to the service. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Fox & Weeks, Hodgson Chapel with Father Gabe Cummings officiating.
